Do Not Call (DNC) Policy
1. Policy Purpose & Statement of Compliance
MVA Care (“MVA Care,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to respecting consumer communication preferences and adhering to all applicable federal and state telemarketing regulations, including:
- The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. § 227) (“TCPA”);
- The Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”) TCPA regulations (47 C.F.R. § 64.1200);
- The Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) Telemarketing Sales Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 310) (“TSR”); and
- Applicable state-specific Do Not Call and telemarketing statutes.
It is our strict policy that all employees, contracted representatives, and technological dialing systems honor consumer requests to not be called or texted.
2. National & State Do Not Call Registries
MVA Care does not engage in unsolicited outbound telemarketing cold calling. We only contact individuals who have submitted an affirmative, express written inquiry on our website. Prior to initiating any telemarketing campaigns that may fall within statutory definitions, our calling lists are scrubbed against the National Do Not Call Registry and state-specific registries, except where prior express written consent exists.
3. Internal Do Not Call Registry
MVA Care maintains an internal, centralized, and automated Do Not Call List. When a consumer requests to be placed on our internal DNC list:
- Their telephone number(s) and email address are recorded in our master suppression database.
- All outbound telephone calls, automated dialers, SMS/MMS messages, and email campaigns from MVA Care to that number are halted.
- The suppression record remains active for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the request, or longer if required by applicable state law.
4. How to Submit a Do Not Call Request
You may place your number on MVA Care’s internal Do Not Call list at any time through any of the following convenient methods:
- By Text Message (SMS): Reply
STOP,UNSUBSCRIBE,QUIT,END, orCANCELto any text message you receive from us. Our automated messaging platform immediately flags and suppresses your number. - By Email: Send an email to dnc@mvacare.us with the subject line “Do Not Call Request” and include your full name and 10-digit telephone number(s) to be removed.
- During a Phone Call: Verbally inform any representative who calls you that you wish to be placed on our internal Do Not Call list. Representatives are trained to immediately log your request.
- By Postal Mail: Send your written request, including your name, address, and telephone number(s), to:
MVA Care Compliance — Internal DNC Department
Attn: Telecommunications Compliance Officer
Email: compliance@mvacare.us
5. Processing Timeframe
We process DNC requests immediately upon receipt through our automated systems. While federal regulations permit up to thirty (30) days to record and implement suppression requests, we make every commercial effort to suppress numbers within 24 to 48 hours.
6. Third-Party Partners & Independent Law Firms
If your inquiry was transferred to an independent partner law firm prior to your DNC request, we will notify the partner firm of your suppression request. However, because partner firms maintain separate calling systems and regulatory obligations, we also recommend that you directly inform any third-party firm of your communication preferences if they contact you.
7. Employee Training & Policy Audits
All personnel involved in consumer intake, customer service, or telecommunications are trained on this Do Not Call Policy and the legal mandates of the TCPA. Periodic compliance audits are performed to verify that all suppression requests are accurately recorded and strictly enforced.
8. Questions & Inquiries
If you have any questions about this Do Not Call Policy, please contact our compliance department at dnc@mvacare.us.
